Welcome!

The Wedding Crafter is a full service event planning and design company. We offer complete wedding planning and coordination, as well as design, decoration and floral. We are here to walk our clients through planning and design from conception to conclusion. No detail is too big or too small for us to handle. I love getting to know our clients and design to whatever beat they live their lives. The entire process for us is bespoke, as no two weddings are alike. Most importantly, we try to make the experience fun and memorable.

Why we do, what we do...

We believe that every couple deserves a day to remember without starting their lives together in debt. We love being able to pay forward the gift. We believe there are many ways to make your day beautiful without breaking the bank. We are expert crafters and can make dollar store items look like you spent top dollar.

We revel in a great party and specialize in multiday celebrations. Our approach blends refinement with originality—but with approachability and a strong foundation in the principles of hospitality. Weddings are not a time to reinvent, but rather, honor your natural instincts. Let your intuition guide your decisions about what kind of environment you want to celebrate in.

The perfect day

It's much more than just one day. Cherish the journey

A wedding is unlike any other event. It is highly complex, and the most public declaration of your most private feelings. With that in mind, it’s crucial to find a planner who cleverly balances the lavishness your wedding deserves, with the intimacy it requires. Ensure he or she is someone you can trust wholeheartedly on all decisions—from style to organization, budget, etiquette, and more.

While details are important and contribute to an unforgettable day, our goal is to tell a love story. We want your guests to remember how they felt walking into a space, the experience as a whole, and how it made them feel.

Tips and Thoughts

From the Pros

Guest Perspective

As you plan your dream wedding, always keep the guest experience in mind. There are lots of fun ideas to bring to the table, but make sure they can be executed in a way that makes guests feel safe and comfortable. Take the time to really evaluate whether elements like the location, terrain, weather, menu, entertainment, and more will create challenges for most, many, or even some of your guests. Happy guests have a much better time, which makes the entire celebration much more fun for you too.

Honey Moon

Don’t go on your honeymoon until at least a week after the wedding (if you can), so you can rest, repack, and reenergize. Waiting a bit also gives you something else to look forward to.

Trust the Professionals

I passionately believe that if couples hire professionals they should be prepared to listen to their professional advice. Don’t rush into hiring a full wedding team that you are not 100 percent happy with; you won’t feel comfortable accepting their advice, which is, largely in part, what you are paying for. Your team is your advocate—trust in that relationship is paramount.

Seating Charts?

Couples with seated meals often wait until the floor plan is finalized before they do their seating and then, panic-stricken, throw it together at the last minute. Truthfully, one can start months beforehand by just looking at the guest list and making groupings of people. Start your seating early—then, worry about where their tables will be later.
